Projects
DISPLAYS: FFG Call: Research Studios Austria Goals: The objective is the development of a highly-innovative framework for the networked, decentralized operation of heterogeneous, long-lived and adaptive DISPLAY services. Partners: EPAMEDIA, CocaCola Österreich, Enterprise Sports Promotion, Geodan Salzburg, OÖ. Theater und Orchester GmbH Folder: [pdf, 295kb] Status: started December 1st, 2008
PowerIT: FFG Call: FIT-IT Embedded Systems & Semiconductors, 2nd Call Goals: This project will investigate on potentials to reduce energy inefficiency by the development of methods and solutions based on implicit user interaction. Methodologically, it will attempt to exploit opportunistic sensor configurations to establish context information, in order to avoid standby losses of electronic equipment, machines and appliances.
SPECTACLES - Autonomous Wearable Displays: SPECTACLES project aims at creating a autonomous computing platform that is integrated into the frame structure of glasses. The system includes components for communication, interaction and sensing to support different applicatoin areas.
