Privacy

We wrote this privacy statement, to help you understand which information we collect, how we use the collected data and what options you have as a visitor of this site, according to the EU-Privacy laws.

Unfortunately it is unavoidable that some explanations appear very technical. We have tried hard to make the most important facts clear and easy to understand.

Automatic Data Storage

When you visit a website, some information is automatically created and stored, and this website is no exception.

Whenever you visit this website, as you do right now, our web server (the system that provides this website) automatically stores data like the IP address of your device, the page you are visiting, some details about your browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge,…), the date and time. We do not use this data and do not pass it on, but can not guarantee that it is not inspected in case of illegal activities.

Storage of Personal Information

Personal information, that you provide on this website during account registration, e.g. your name, email address, address or other personal data is only used for the stated purposes, securely stored and never passed on to 3rd parties.

We use your personal data only for communication that is expressly wanted and for the services provided by this website, e.g. holding courses. We do not pass on your data without consent, but can not guarantee your data is not inspected in case of illegal activities.

Your Rights

You have the basic rights to review, correct, delete, retrieve and retract your data. If you think this website is violating your privacy rights, you can complain at the data protection authority. In Austria their website is available at https://www.dsb.gv.at/.

TLS-Encryption via https

We use https to transmit data securely through the internet. With TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transfer over the internet, we can guarantee the safety of confidential information. You can recognize enabled TLS by the small lock symbol next to the address in your browser, or the address starting with https.

Cookies

Our website uses HTTP-Cookies to store user-specific data. A cookie is a short data packet, which is stored for a prolonged period by your browser. It allows us to recognize logged in users and store some user preferences (e.g. the selected language) permanently, even when not registered.

If you do not like this, you can configure your browser to reject cookies by default and only allow them in selected cases. You can also delete cookies stored on your system at any time. The procedure depends on the browser you are using, the simplest way is to search online with a search term like "delete cookies" and your browser name, e.g. "chrome", "firefox", "edge" or "safari".

If you prevent us from storing cookies by disabling them in your browser altogether, some features of this website will not work as intended.
